Achieving Privacy of Shared Information: Crypto & Beyond

Submitting, publishing or otherwise sharing information possesses various privacy threats to individuals. Existing cryptographic methods cannot solve all the problems of protecting privacy in these settings, and so other solutions are required. Our talk concentrates on re-identification attacks from shared data. We discuss cryptographic and sanitization approaches to prevent data leakage and disclosures.
