Doba nomenklátorů

Přednáška se zabývá jednou z etap vývoje šifer, které měly za cíl
skrýt frekvenční závislosti otevřeného textu. Je sledován vznik
nomenklátorů jako nového typu šifry. Popsán je vývoj od jednoduchých
substitučních šifer k homofonní šifře a odtud pak po vznik
nomenklátoru. Přednáška končí obdobím, kdy nomenklátor byl nahrazen
kódovou knihou. Je poukázáno na některé historické aspekty vývoje
nomneklátorů. Zejména jsou popsány konkrétní nomenklátory a jejich
využití v jednotlivých státech tehdejší Evropy. Jsou uvedena jména
kryptolgů, kteří tyto nomenklátory sestavovali resp. luštili a jejich
konkrétní přínos k rozvoji. V přednášce bude věnováno i místo
pravděpodobně nejstarší česky psané kryptografické příručce
Rafaela Mnišovského ze Soběhrd (1580-1644).
The time of nomenclators.

The lecture describes one of several periods of the cipher evolution; the
ciphers
whose aim was to hide the frequency dependence of the clear text. The
origin of
nomenclator as a new kind of cipher is followed. The evolution from simple
substitution cipher to homophone cipher and further to the origin of
nomenclator is
described. The lecture ends with the replacement of the nomenclator by
codebook. The
historical aspects of nomenclator evolution are pointed out. Specifically
described
are the nomenclators frequently used at that time and their applications in
specific
countries of the Europe. The names of cryptologists who compiled and solved
them and
the concrete contribution to the development are listed. The lecture
especially
mentions the probably oldest Czech cryptographic textbook by Raphael
Mnishowsky
de Sobiehrd (1580-1644).
